LAST REAL INDIANS

Yesterday, in Seattle, people (including LRI contributing writer Matt Remle) came together to protest the increased shipment of Bakken oil via rail through our neighborhoods, alongside our rivers and streams from North Dakota to refineries in WA state.
 “We stand to protect our source of life, water, our first mother, Mother earth, and all our relatives from the devastating impacts from fracking a…nd other destructive practices. To those who belittle our efforts, we are fighting for your future generations as well.
